Bioadhesives In article 2203404 by Nasim Annabi, Ali Khademhosseini, and Paul S. Weiss co-workers, an efficient chemical route for mussel-inspired functionalization of natural biomacromolecules is developed to enhance sutureless sealing surgical wounds. Compared standard catechol functionalization, poly(catechol) modification gelatin leads injectable bioglues with rapid gelation hemorrhage control, tough bioadhesion, infrared responsiveness.
